How Taranis Managed To Improve a Legacy Web Application by 10X (And Lived To Tell the Tale)

No matter how far technology progress gets, there will always be performance issues. Why? Because humanity will continue to outsize demand over supply. We always want more and we want it fast.

I want to tell you a story of how our company, that serves farmers and growers across millions of acres, has come to a point where the web app just couldn't handle the amount of acres covered. And over a course of four sprints we were able to cut the response time from around 3-4 minutes (!!) to 3-4 seconds.
